Welcome to the Revolution User Manual!

Revolution is the Division's recruitment database. Participant information is collected and stored in this database to help recruitment for research studies. Any information obtained and stored in this database must be treated in strict confidence! Information collected can only be stored in the database with the participant's consent. Remember, participation in research is voluntary. Participants have the right to opt out / revoke their permission / asked to be removed from our database at any time.

Research personnel are required to have the following before they are given access to the database:

  • Valid CITI Certification(s)
  • IRB approval to participate in a Division's research project
  • 100% score on Revolution User Manual Quiz
  • Revolution user account created

Research personnel are required to read all sections regardless of their role. For example, staff/students still need to read sections indicating "coordinator access only". Revolution contains confidential information and anyone who uses it must be equipped to ensure its' security and integrity.

The site administrator and/or coordinators can revoke access to your account without your approval at any time. Possible reasons for removal include failure to follow directions or change in your affiliation i.e., no longer at the Division. If this occurs, you may contact your supervisor or the administrator to be debriefed.
